Join the Day4Defenders 2026 initiative!
As always, we invite each and every one of you to organise a Day for the Army at your IT companies, businesses and organisations! Every day in Ukraine is a day for the army. Yet on October 1, the Day of Defenders, showing your support for the military through action is especially valuable.
The goal of Day4Defenders: to generate additional funds for the army. In 2022, the government cancelled public holidays, but many IT and other companies show flexibility and leave their employees part of those days off. We suggest that you and your colleagues come to work as a sign of support for the army, and donate the pay for that day.
The mechanics of raising funds:
If October 1 (Thursday) is a day off at your company: Offer your employees to come to work and count the hours worked as overtime, thereby generating additional funds. This will allow you to pay people their full compensation for October, and to pass on the payment from clients for that extra day to the Armed Forces.
If October 1 (Thursday) is a working day at your company: We invite you as an organisation to donate your daily revenue/gross profit (depending on your capacity) to the military.
The more companies join, the more vehicles we will buy. It is also possible to direct the funds generated by your company to internal projects that strengthen the army.
