We present the creative collaboration “Wings Don’t Need Ground” by the SLOW.LY brand, the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, and the 1991 Foundation. We joined forces to transform military parachutes into unique bags that continue to serve defenders. The goal of the project is to raise 2 million UAH for night drones for the 80th Air Assault Brigade.

Bags from the charity collection were once parachutes used for illumination rounds and were the eyes of soldiers on the battlefield. Beyond fundraising, these accessories serve as a daily reminder of their owners’ connection to the war and the importance of supporting the Armed Forces, as well as an example of how business and the military can strengthen each other through partnership.

Once, these parachutes carried illumination rounds to strike the enemy more precisely. Now, they have been given a new life as bags that help raise funds for military equipment.

Project initiator and serviceman of the 80th Air Assault Brigade — Sashko Chornyi.

Now the parachute serves a new mission — helping raise 2 million UAH for drones used in aerial reconnaissance. These UAVs make it possible to spot the enemy at night and deliver precise strikes on the battlefield. Seeing the target means neutralizing it and saving the lives of comrades.

The bag, once a source of light for the military, now helps bring light to the front line, where it is needed most.
